Levine causes controversy, Lowe to play JFK

Adam Levine caused some controversy on the set of his TV singing competition series, "The Voice." The Maroon 5 frontman was heard muttering "I hate this country" after two of his three singers were eliminated. Distressed viewers who heard the remark, which was picked up by a live microphone, have been complaining about the comment. Levine took to Twitter, posting a series of words including, "joke," "humorless," and "misunderstand."

Rob Lowe has reportedly signed on to play John F. Kennedy in a made-for-TV movie marking the 50th anniversary of the American president's 1963 assassination. The movie, called "Killing Kennedy," will be a two-hour National Geographic "factual drama." No word yet on when the movie will air.
