Prime Minister David Cameron said on Thursday that Britain would be resolute in its "stand against violence extremism", speaking after two Islamists hacked a soldier to death with meat cleavers on a south London street the day before.

The British leader spoke after he convened an emergency meeting of his intelligence chiefs.
