- Like Us! Welcome to Clevver Games everyone I'm your host Andrea Rene here with news from the 2011 Tokyo Game Show. Late last night for us in the U.S., Nintendo held their pre-TGS press conference to showcase their new software lineup for the Nintendo 3DS. . As expect, they announced Monster Hunter 4. The latest game in the popular franchise from Capcom will launch on the 3DS. It wasn't clear if the game will be a 3DS exclusive but considering how popular the game is in Japan it could push a lot of sales for the hardware if not available on other platforms. . Nintendo already has Monster Hunter 3G scheduled to launch in Japan on December 10th. It was also confirmed that the game will launch with the second analog stick peripheral being referred to as the SlidePad, which will cost around $20. . The hardware will be compatible with a number of other franchises as well including Resident Evil, Kingdom Hearts, and Metal Gear Solid. Not much is known about the story of the new game but just the announcement is a step in the right direction for Nintendo, who is struggling with consumer confidence on the 3DS. . I'll be bringing you more coverage from Tokyo Game Show over the next few days so make sure to subscribe to not miss any updates. I'm Andrea Rene and thanks for watching Clevver Games.
