Lil Wayne is taking his sweet time with his next album. Details on the release up next.
Hi guys, I'm Bridget Daly, and you're watching ClevverMusic. Good thing Lil Wayne's fans are patient, because he is making them waaaaaiiitttt for this new album to come out. According to Young Money president Mack Maine, Tha Carter 4 is being pushed back from May 16 to June 21. He said that Weezy is still perfecting a few things because he's a perfectionist, and is changing a few lines. Maine also said there's still a whole track on the album that isn't finished yet, and that Weezy and company are in LA through the weekend, hoping to have it finished by Monday.
But before you go blaming Weezy for the hold up, just know that it's most likely his collaborators who are to blame. Maine said all those things had to be calculated, and so pushing the release back was the best idea. As for the Tha Carter IV track list that has been making its way around the Internet, Mack confirms that it's definitely not the real cut of the song, because they're not even done with it yet. But what Maine is sharing is that Weezy's next single is apparently comparable to his 2008 hit Lollipop. So are you excited about hearing the news album?
