IGN recently detailed what we can expect to find Rockstar Games upcoming action game starring the tormented Max Payne. . The new mode for multiplayer is called Gang Wars and it focuses on key objectives and uses outcomes from each round to dictate what will happen in the next round. For example, a bounty might be placed on the person from previous round that was the most lethal, or you might have to defuse defuse bombs that were place on the new territory you won. . Objectives are connected by motion comics and voice-over from Max Payne to keep the look of multiplayer close to the campaign. There are a variety of objectives that will prevent one team from dominating another and they range from cooperative to individualistic. The different variety is said to be "virtually limitless" providing unique gameplay experiences, and with narrative focused gameplay it should be very engaging. . There will be persistent perks called Bursts that you get access to as you gain experience points. Many will alter your reality like the Sneaky Burst which makes you appear as a friendly gamertag, Paranoia that forces your opponents to see their own teammates as enemies, or Intuition which lets you see silhouettes of enemies. There is even a Bullet Time burst that slows time allowing you to have your very own slow motion kill. The Bursts are stackable up to three levels, so having some patience and using them once they are stacked will give you better payoffs. . Multiplayer will be a major focus on Max Payne's DLC, some of which has already been announced like retro Max Payne skins. I'll bring you more details leading up to the March 2012 release of the game right here on Clevver so make sure to subscribe to not miss any videos. Thanks for watching, I'm Andrea Rene and I'll see you next time.
