Let the battle of the bands begin! It looks like the supposed rivalry between One Direction and The Wanted may be a bit more real than we thought -- at least it's still being talked about. Max George of The Wanted has already cited 1D's immaturity as the source of their conflict --- explaining quote, "They make little comments in interviews when we're mentioned. But they're young, and that's expected, and I laugh at it. If they're taking it seriously, then maybe that's just an age thing." Well it turns out the X Factor alums may be taking it more seriously than we thought because in a recent interview with Now magazine, Louis Tomlinson discussed the feud, explaining that at first the guys assumed it was the media twisting around words, but things changed when The Wanted was apparently caught on camera mocking the guys on numerous occasions. In response to the escalating dispute between the bands, Louis said QUOTE, "I just think, if you want to create that rivalry, then let's do it." And the boys of 1D may be young but Louis continued with quote, "We're not bothered bout the friction or the rivalry. But I'm not going to shy away from it because that isn't the person I am. I don't think it's fair to me or any of the lads." But not to worry --- The Wanted doesn't seem too serious about taking action --- the guys just sat down for an interview with the Mirror and joked about the entire situation, ending with Max's suggestion for a boxing match. He proposes that they pick out of a hat, one guy against another and go for it. Then they'll all go for a pint and be friends. Well we can't tell just yet what's on the horizon for this battle of the bands but we hope that the guys can keep things civil! But just for fun --- who do you guys think would win in a boxing match? One Direction or The Wanted? Let us know in the comments section below and keep checking back to ClevverTV for all your entertainment news updates! I'm Dana Ward in Hollywood, thanks for tuning in!
