Hey everyone I'm Brian Corsetti and you're watching Clevver Music. Japan is still coping with the largest earthquake to date. Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan took to the airwaves Sunday, calling the earthquake the "toughest and the most difficult crisis for Japan" since the end of World War II. Nuclear power plants are exploding and leaking deadly chemicals into the environment, and after shocks are reaching 7.0 on the rictor scale. Officially the death toll stands at just over 1,900, but many now expect that to rise to more than 10,000 since 2,000 bodies just washed on shore today. Thousands of people are missing, and is some cases whole towns were washed away. Millions of Japanese are without drinking water or electricity, and they are surviving on instant noodles and rice balls. This country is in a state of emergency and they need all the help they can get.
