The film adaptation of John Le Carre's Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy had its German premiere on Tuesday (January 24) with freshly Oscar nominated Gary Oldman still buzzing from the news. The film, set in the Cold War era of the 1970s, is a slow-paced and gripping tale of the character George Smiley, who is brought out of retirement by The Circus - an in house name for the British Intelligence Services, MI6, to hunt down a mole in the highest echelons of the organisation.
