Phil Mickelson Says He Had a Good Thursday at Scottish Open

Phil Mickelson shot a 66 at the Castle Stuart golf links on Thursday (July 11) to join six others in third place after the first round of the Scottish Open. Leader John Parry shot a 64 with Simon Khan second on 65. Mickelson, runner-up at the U.S. Open, hit an eagle, two bogeys and six birdies in his round. The Scottish Open is being used by many players to warm up for the British Open which begins in a week's time.
