The latest stop on the Gaga train is Japan. We've got the dish on what to expect next!
Hey little monsters, i'm Bridget Daly reporting for ClevverMusic. Lady Gaga just landed in Japan to start prepping for her big performance this weekend at MTV Video Music Aid. But of course, she's using this downtime to do a little good. Gaga is trying to help Japan boost their tourism by letting people all over the world know that it's ok to visit the country following the earthquake and tsunami. She said in a statement, "I can't say enough to people all over the world that the majority of Japan right now, Japan in general, is very safe. It's fine to come here. It's beautiful."
As you know, alot of performer have straight up canceled their concerts in Japan for fear that it wasnt yet safe to be there. But Gaga is reminding people that the Japanese need a boost in tourism right now, and it's safe for people to travel there. The Japan Tourism Agency presented her with a certificate thanking her for her money raising efforts. Pretty awesome, and you can look forward to her performance on Saturday June 25th. Check back with us here on ClevverMusic for more Gaga updates, and head over to Facebook.com/ClevverMusic for her performance recap. THanks for watching. I'm Bridget Daly, and I'll see you next time.
