Gingerbread Nutritional Values and Alternatives

Gingerbread is not generally a nutritional item. It's just a lot of white flour, butter, and sugar. You can make it from scratch, you can use light butter in there. I would definitely recommend cutting the sugar in any bread recipe by two-thirds: you don't usually need it that sweet, but it's still going to be very palatable that way.
