With the Presidential Election it was a big week for America, so SNL brought out the big guns: Anne Hathaway as Host and Rihanna as the special guest performer performing two songs off her upcoming "Unapologetic" album! Welcome back to ClevverMusic.

Saturday's SNL show started out the only way it could- with a Mitt Romney skit. Fake Mitt on Election Night stood on his home balcony, sulking over his Presidential loss getting drunk off a carton of milk and proclaimed, "America, I still love you but you've hurt my feelings very very much".

Following the skit, host Anne Hathaway wore a plunging black lacy dress for her opening monologue, and first reminded everyone it was her third time hosting the show. She talked about the six grueling days she spent rehearsing for the show and then burst into song with other members of the cast, showing off her operatic pipes and it was quite impressive.

Also impressive- Rihanna's first song performance of "Diamonds" wearing a camo jacket her live version sounded a lot like the radio edit. A green screen behind her flashed an array of images behind her including palm trees, glaciers, globes, and of course, diamonds. She swayed in front of the band who rocked out behind her.

A standout skit of the night was a parody of the Ellen Show where fake YouTube stars Sofia Grace and Rosie made an appearance and Anne Hathaway brought back her hilarious Katie Holmes impersonation.

Rihanna took the stage again to close the show and debuted a new song off her upcoming album out November 19th titled, "Stay". This performance was more stripped down than the first and thankfully without fake images behind her. Rihanna wore a sexy tight black Bob Marley dress as she belted out the lyrics to the emotional ballad song: "Funny how you're the broken one but I'm the only one who needed saving." That particular line seems to refer to her incident with then-boyfriend Chris Brown at the Grammy's back in 2009.

This was Rihanna's fourth time performing on SNL, how do you think she did? We'll put links to her two performances down in the description. Thanks for watching ClevverMusic, I'm Misty Kingma thanks for watching and thanks for subscribing, bye.
