    U2's Performance:

Hi everyone, welcome back to ClevverMusic I'm Bridget Daly. Amy Winehouse's death has rocked the entire world, and now fellow artists are coming forward with their own touching tributes to the British talent whose life was taken all too soon. Fellow Brit Adele composed a blog posting for her called Amy Flies in Paradise. The short and sweet posting was so touching, with lines like "Amy paved the way for artists like me and made people excited about british music again whilst being fearlessly hilarious and blase about the whole thing. i don't think she ever realised just how brilliant she was and how important she is, but that just makes her even more charming."
Another fellow Brit Ellie Goulding dedicated her cover of Elton John's Your Song to Amy on Saturday night. She told her audience, "Someone very special passed away. She was one of my inspirations -- and a big inspiration for many other singers, I think." U2 decided the best way to pay tribute to Wino was via song. They performed in Minneapolis last night and Bono talked to the crowd prior to performing Stuck in a Moment, "Now we wrote this next song for Michael Hutchence, But you will understand if tonight, we play it for...Amy Winehouse." Rapper Big Boi posted a remix version of Amy's track Tears Dry On Their Own. And finally, one of the most touching tributes was by Russell Brand, who was one of Amy's close friends, and who had also struggled with substance abuse in his past. His blog post actually called out the government for the way they treat addicts. He wrote, We need to review the way society treats addicts, not as criminals but as sick people in need of care. Not all of us know someone with the incredible talent that Amy had but we all know drunks and junkies and they all need help and the help is out there. You can check out that, plus U2's performance by the links below/ Let us know how Amy affected you personally. For more updates, make sure to follow ClevverMusic on Twitter. That does it for me.
