Hitachi iVDR removable harddrives at IFA 2007

Hitachi has launched TVs in Japan with a built-in iVDRs slot, that lets users buy 2.5″ hard drive iVDR cartridges and connect them behind the TV to use that storage for the built-in DVR of the TV. The iVDR system let’s users buy hard drive storage in such iVDR cartridge which provides as large a removable storage capacity for devices as hard drives can provide.
