Target - Condensation
Graffiti artists discover their ability to create sculptural artwork in air. The different styles blend to create a dialogue between the three artists that also encompasses the viewer – two pieces that play in Victory Park in Dallas, Texas.
AXA
The animation highlighted the rapid evolution of mankind and invention by showcasing a man made from folded paper who transforms himself into some of the most impactful inventions throughout history - beginning with the wheel and moving chronologically through handheld mobile computers.
Oracle Touch
Tronic designed a 30' freestanding outdoor LED display for Oracle in San Francisco. Touch, which played on the LED sculpture, was filmed in Brooklyn's Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Museum of Art. Touch created a dialogue between the human body and the transformative properties of technology and how that enables change in today's world.
Samsung Olympics
Tronic fused together the worlds of abstraction with photoreal animation to create Samsung's new Times Square spot announcing worldwide partnership with the 2008 Olympic Games. Geometrically abstract slices flock together to form athletes and then rearrange to show the high tech thinking behind Samsung products.
Sony Chocolate
Tronic designed and animated this whimsical spot for the Sony Style stores for their holiday campaign. Combining CG chocolate with a live action shoot, Tronic was able to bring Sony's products to life in a completely unexpected and playful manner.
Oracle Connect
Creative collective Tronic Studio drew on its architecture expertise in designing a freestanding outdoor LED display for Oracle OpenWorld 2008, the world’s largest gathering of Oracle customers, partners, developers and technology enthusiasts. They were also tapped by Oracle to direct and animate all the branded content for the event, which included one: 30 spot and one: 60. The conference, held September 21-25 at San Francisco’s Moscone Center, drew some 43,000 attendees. Based on Oracle’s tag line, “Connect. Collaborate. Learn,” Tronic developed a pair of CG and live-action spots, which ran in a loop on the big screen. Using the software developer’s signature red and white color palette, Tronic took viewers inside Oracle to a CG world where, within the Oracle matrix, people connect, collaborate and learn.
56 Leonard - Herzog and de Meuron
Anish Kapoor’s huge stainless steel balloon sculpture floats gently out of the Manhattan sky to land on-site at 56 Leonard Street, where it is compressed into final form under the descending weight of architects’ Herzog & de Meuron’s twisted-glass and steel 57-story hi-rise residential tower. Tronic produced and directed this architectural film to promote the marketing launch of this exciting and bravely designed future Manhattan landmark.
