NDT's premiere Company perform a full-length ballet by Jiří Kylián, founder of NDT and one of the most outstanding artists of the 20th Century. One of a Kind is an exquisite interplay between lighting, set, music and dance. On a starkly beautiful set by Japanese architect Atsushi Kitagawara, 24 dancers move with eerily light steps which suddenly transform into lightning flashes and stupendous pas de deux. Their strength is mixing strength and technical precision with a fascinating use of contemporary movement.
