SINUS VII
Sinus VII is a public art project by visual artist Per Josephson: http://www.perjosephson.se I was asked to do a musical interpretation of the artwork to create a whole that is hopefully greater then the sum of it's parts. The artwork is on display in the windows of the newly renovated Scandic Malmen hotel at the corner of Götgatan and Folkungagatan in Stockholm. The music is a seven minute piece that loops and plays 24/7. It follows the artworks twisted cut and paste style of old jazz images and instruments and is all sample based. I shot a little video to document it all. The video features the first five minutes of the piece. Didn't have footage and patience for the remaning two...
