I did not meet Cody before the actual wedding day because he is in the armed forces. They had a beautiful ceremony at St. Peter’s Church and then it was off to Point Pleasant beach with the bridal party. I grew up going to the beach by Jenkinson’s Pier, so it has a special place in my heart whenever I go back. One of my favorite videographers , Andy, from Stomping Bread Productions, was with us having fun on the beach and boardwalk. We definitely had to hit the batting cages after being on the boardwalk and I took a few swings myself. The surf was a good 5-6ft and clean, which as a surfer was killing me, but how often do brides get perfect surf as a backdrop on their wedding day? The reception was held at Jack Baker’s Sunset Ballroom and there was a beautiful sunset overlooking the Manasquan Inlet. They rocked out to Human Recordz, who provided the entertainment throughout the night. Jessica and Cody are now stationed overseas.I wish this new couple the best of luck.
Renee is beyond sweet with loads of style. I had an amazing time with Daniel and Renee on their wedding day in Philadelphia. They both prepared for the day at the Sofitel in Philadelphia. We had their first meet together at a special spot at the Sofitel and then we were off to have some fun across the street from the Curtis Center. The bridal party was “ONLY” 28 people, but they were all great to work with. I could not get over how much one of the bridesmaids resembled Vanessa Williams. Judy from JP Event Design helped keep things running smoothly. The ceremony and reception was held at the Atrium at the Curtis Center. Renee had a stunning Lazarro Bridal gown from the Bridal Garden in Marlton, NJ. Her flowers were from the always awesome Il Fiore Bianco. After the beautiful ceremony EBE’s Dreamtime Band provided some serious entertainment. They also played at the event that I photographed the night before. It was wonderful working with them both days.
I met Shawna as a bridesmaid in one of my weddings back in 2007. So we go way back ;) We had an amazing time shooting their GTKY session down the shore at Sea Isle and could not wait for their wedding day. This was a special wedding because we shot half of it in film. Yes that is right film. It is not dead and you will see more and more of my film work. Film adds a soft and rich emotional feeling to each moment captured. I love it! Their ceremony was held at Holy Trinity Church in Burlington, NJ. We then went down to High Street which is significant to the couple since he works there and they spend quite a bit of time in the area. The wind was kicking down by the river, so we went into a few shops to create. I’ve been there in the past and always loved shooting around high street. They had a great bridal party and Steve & Company provided the entertainment for the evening at King’s Caterers in Bristol, PA.
I met Katie a few years back at a wedding I photographed in Philadelphia. She was the bridal sales associate at the venue and I got an amazing image of her falling in the kitchen doorway. I was honored when she chose me as her photographer for her destination wedding in the Bahamas. She grew up going to Hopetown as her family owns property there. The place is incredible. It took 3 planes, a taxi, a boat and a golf cart to get me to the island house that was rented for everyone. Hopetown is only about 4 miles wide and very private. The place we stayed at was 3 houses away from Verne Troyer (aka Mini Me) and he actually drove by on a golf cart right after the ceremony. Beyonce and Jay-Z were also on the island that week. The few days we spent there together were awesome. The wedding was beautiful and took place at the private house they rented.
