The Social Scene
Every summer, Winnipeg is invaded by wedding socials. The "social" is described as a celebration/fundraiser for the happy couple. These events raise funds that go towards the cost of the wedding and are a good chance to connect with friends and family who will not be able to attend the actual wedding.
