Going by the trend, Nissan sub-brand Datsun unveiled the seven-seater MPV based on the hatchback platform, alongside the Honda Mobilio and Maruti Ertiga, at Delhi Auto Expo. Named as ‘Datsun GO Plus’ the seven seater is based on the platform of hatchback GO. Despite being a sub-brand of Nissan, Datsun is reported of embrowning the smart phone dock and its connectivity in the vehicle, which sounds impeccable when jolting down its cost factor. On an initial stage, we expect the GO Plus to be powered by a one point two liter petrol engine putting out power of sixty seven horses and one hundred four Newton meter of torque. But right now there doesn’t seem any plans for the diesel version to be rolling out anytime soon near the launch.
Hero MotoCorp has delivered the unexpected “Splendor Pro Classic” at Delhi Auto Expo, which remains to be from a ‘poorman’s Café Racer’ category. The good old metal charm is now back in fashion with the chromed metal guards on front as well as rear escorted with chromed exhaust and suspension. The dropped handlebars and the round-wise headlamps drag us back to the era of Yamaha R X hundred and such. The seating arrangement is quite lucrative for the bike which is just a hundred cc converted into a Café Racer. To its fact, Splendor Pro Classic looks production ready and power delivery meant to be answered from the old Splendor’s hundred cc engine worth of eight bhp and eight NM of torque, mated to a four-speed gearbox. The only negativity that can be seen on it is ‘the bulky chain guard’ being planked on the red hot delicate body. There wouldn’t be any better option in the market to the make the daily commute as efficient and stylish than this the Splendor Pro Classis if it goes into production anytime soon. Ten on Ten to designers at Hero for getting such impressive moves to masses’ transportation!

We are expecting to get it soon with the ‘one point five liter i-vtec petrol’ and ‘one point five liter i-dtec diesel’ delivering the output of ‘hundred and nineteen’ and ‘hundred’ Pferdestärke respectively. Mobilio is a three row seven seater MPV from Honda, rivaling the Maruti Ertiga on a strong note. Dual front airbags, ABS, alloy wheels, steering integrated controls, rear wiper and defogger are said to be standard features on the top-end variant. To its delight, Honda is also reported of considering a petrol automatic variant for our nation.
