The Plainsmen are Canterbury Country Music legends and hail from the Port-City Timaru in the South Island of New Zealand not far from quake stricken Christchurch.The Plainsmen were brothers Norman & Claude Stringer (vocals & guitars), Lex Sinclair (bass) & Russell Stevenson (piano).“The Ballad of the Waitaki” is the story of how the Benmore & Aivemore Dams were built to harness the mighty Waitaki River into producing power for all of New Zealand; once upon a time.

Love Song was one of the most charismatic Jesus music-rock bands of the seventies. Love Song was founded by Chuck Girard, Tommy Coomes, Jay Truax, and Fred Field in 1970. Additionally, the earliest members included David Ingram on keyboards, Ernie Earnshaw on drums and Jack Schaeffer on bass. It was Schaeffer who came up with the group's name. Rick Grech and Mike Bloomfield quit after KGB’s debut release. With new bassist Greg Sutton and guitarist Ben Schultz, KGB recorded Motion, their second and last album, also released in 1976 through MCA. Fred Story is a brilliant composer/arranger/musician that had worked for a now defunct American music label. Hey Presto! in the UK now have the distribution rights to his music. There are ten discs in the Natural Dreams series and these include nature’s sounds blended with brilliant music of many genres.
