It made her determine to terminate her career as a professional pianist once. She still cannot hear with the right ear at all, 40 % of hearing with her left ear was back. Fuzjko’s debut CD, La Campanella, was released on August 25, 1999 and sold over two million copies, an unusual phenomenon in the classical music scene. As of today, fifteen CDs have been released, all of which have sold a remarkable number of copies. Four of her CDs have received the Classical Album of the Year award at the Japan Gold Disc Awards, a feat never before accomplished. Also, she is a great humanitarian. She had donated all her CD sales to the 9.11 victims for one year, and she supports victims of the Kobe earthquake, Afghan refugees and UNICEF. Moreover, her humanitarian passion can be found in the fact that she continues to support and fight for animal rights, starting with providing care and shelter for cats and dogs. She has also been a vegetarian for more than 22 years. In this video, she visited underprivileged children.

Gavage humain pour protester contre le foie gras
Dernière action choc d'une association hollandaise : le gavage (au yaourt) de Giel Beelen, célébrité de la télévision des Pays-Bas qui exprime ainsi son opposition à la suralimentation forcée des oiseaux pour le foie gras. La reine Beatrix des Pays-Bas vient d'annoncer que le foie gras est désormais banni des dîners officiels à la cour des Pays-Bas. Le restaurant du Parlement de ce pays avait pris la même décision en 2005. Un sondage publié en décembre 2006 aux Pays-Bas montrait que le gavage est, de loin, la pratique d'élevage que les habitants de ce pays réprouvent le plus, devant la castration des cochons sans anesthésie, l'élevage intensif de poulets, etc. (cf. sources plus bas). Après les Etats-Unis (et les interdictions du foie gras en Californie et Chicago), l'opposition au foie gras s'intensifie aussi dans d'autres pays d'Europe. La production de foie gras est déjà interdite au Royaume-Uni, mais pas l'importation. Une proposition de loi (EDM 1247) visant à interdire la vente de foie gras a ainsi été déposée en mars 2007 par le député Hugh Bayley. Plusieurs chaînes de distribution britanniques ont déjà décidé d'arrêter de vendre du foie gras : magasins de luxe (House of Fraser), grande distribution traditionnelle (Waitrose, Sainsbury's), hard discount (Lidl). Animaux en Péril
ANIMAUX EN PÉRIL est une des plus importantes associations de protection animale de Belgique. Créée en 1983, l'ASBL gère aujourd'hui deux centres d'accueil pour animaux abandonnés, maltraités, perdus ou encore réformés. La suralimentation forcée et déséquilibrée provoque fréquemment des maladies du système digestif, potentiellement mortelles.Suite au choc du gavage, il est pris de diarrhées et de halètements. En outre, les dimensions de son foie hypertrophié rendent sa respiration difficile, et ses déplacements pénibles.Si ce traitement était poursuivi, il provoquerait la mort des animaux gavés. L'abattage intervient à temps pour masquer les conséquences du gavage.
