While on vacation in Hawaiii, I went to the Waikiki Aquarium. It was walking distance from where we were staying. I saw some amazing coral and jellyfish. Took a 13 mile scenic drive down Red Rock Canyon, National Conservation Area. Beautiful colors, beautiful mountains and plenty of hiking trails! Music by Kevin MacLeod

While visiting family in San Clemente, we watched the fireworks from their deck. The fireworks were spectacular even with a tall palm tree in the middle of our view.

The mama duck made her nest by the Women's Restroom near the 6th tee on our golf course. She recently hatched six adorable baby ducklings. (I hid behind a bush to film this)

I saw thirteen baby ducklings with their mother hanging around the lake on hole number 17 on our golf course. The mother duck and her cute little ducklings went for a short swim. Then the mother climbed out of the lake with four of her babies following her. The other nine remaining baby ducklings tried to climb out of the lake but kept falling back in. I took this footage at Joshua Tree National Park, California, March 2008. The wildflowers looked as though they were dancing in the wind.

My father passed away three years ago on February 1, 2005. As a tribute to my dad, we had a brick engraved with his name on it. Recently it was placed on the Walk of Honor at the Palm Springs Air Museum.

I rather have a heart full of chocolates then a dozen roses any day."Happy Valentine's Day!"

This morning I filmed beautiful flowers at the entrance of our neighborhood in Palm Desert, CA. It looks more like springtime in April instead of wintertime in January.

We have a lot of coots where I live in California. The coots are medium-sized water birds and are predominantly black in plumage with white beaks. They like to hang out on the 17th fairway by our lake. No one around our community like them because they are noisy and very messy. Even though everyone here hates these birds, I think they are beautiful in their own way. I felt sorry for one bird who seemed to have an injured leg in the video. Notice at the end of this clip there's a duck that appears. I filmed this footage with my mini Sanyo Xacti.

O.K. my tree is down and all my Christmas ornaments are neatly put away up in the attic. The only problem I have now is what do I do with all my Poinsettias?
