The sequel to X Men: First Class just got a release date!The Matthew Vaughn-directed film is part of an impressive lineup announced by 20th Century Fox for its 2013-2014 movie lineup and there are some real gems coming out.Fox is re-releasing the classic 1996 summer blockbusterIndependence Day in 3D, which will hit theaters on July 3, 2013, just in time for the national holiday.Spring 2013 will include a comedy starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy directed by Bridesmaids' Paul Feig, coming out April 5. Beyonce will provide her voice along an all-star castto the animated film Epic which comes out May 24.Other 2013 releases include Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters which has moved from March 15th to August 16th. The fall brings us Walking with Dinosaurs and a Christmas release for Ben Stiller's Secret Life of Walter Mitty starring Kristen Wiig.Steven Spielberg's Robopocalypse comes out April 25, 2014. Planet of the Apes has another installment, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, hitting theaters on Memorial Day 2014.I can't wait to see these films in theaters. So before you head out to the theatres lets see what the ciritcs are saying!Michael Phillips from Chicago tribune was a fan, he said, "At its best, "Snow White and the Huntsman" feels less like a desperate blockbuster and more like a handmade object."TOP critic roger ebert agreed, he said, ""Snow White and the Huntsman" reinvents the legendary story in a film of astonishing beauty and imagination."But one person who didn't agree with those two was owen gleiberman from entertainment weekly, he said, "It turns into a clangy medieval epic, full of random woodland monsters and battles, and it begins to lose the pulse of its fairy-tale mystique. Stay right here as Clevver Movies fills you in.The Wrap reports that the two are slated to star in this comedy about two retired boxers returning to fight in the ring for a final grudge match. Although the movie isn't yet confirmed and neither star's reps are commenting, the project is a go at Warner Bros. and anticipated to start shooting early next year.For those who don't remember, both Robert DeNiro and Sylvester Stallone gained fame (and Oscars) in the late 70's for their movies about famous boxers.DeNiro won Best Actor as Jake La Motta in 1980's Raging Bull. Many argue his performance revolutionized the way actors portray parts when he underwent radical physical transformations by training hardcore to play the boxer at the height of his fame and later in his retirement.Sylvester Stallone's Rocky won Best Picture in 1976 where he played famous boxer Rocky Balboa and was also nominated for Best Actor and Best Screenplay, only the third actor at that time to achieve such an accomplishment.The Grudge Match will be a great way to bring the two actors together as a swan song to those movies as well as show the two can still duke it out.Entourage's Doug Ellin is writing the latest draft of the screenplay. Mark Steven Johnson from "Daredevil" is producing along with Gerber Pictures' Bill Gerber and Carrie Gillogly.Although both DeNiro and Stallone have busy shooting schedule coming up, let's hope they find time to start this project on time. Clevver Movies has the scoop.Vulture reveals all the shake ups involved with the addition of Sandler to Three Mississippi. The comedy was originally supposed to star Will Ferrell, Alec Baldwin and Mark Wahlberg with Adam McKay directing. Now Wahlberg and McKay are out and who knows about Baldwin. These latest cast changes certainly weave from the original idea for the comedy. The story is about two rival families, assuming in-laws, playing football at Thanksgiving with one family the perennial loser. Ferrell's producing partners, Owen Burke and Adam McKay, wanted to find a way to reteam Alec Baldwin and Mark Wahlberg to re-create their banter from The Departed. Baldwin would have played Wahlberg's dad. They took the project to Warner Bros. and attached 30 Rock executive producer Robert Carlock and Friends executive producer Scott Silveri. The shake ups are partly due to Paramount's sudden agreement to do an Anchorman sequel and scheduling filming for early next year. This of course compromises Adam McKay's availability since he would be directing two films at once, which is impossible. The Anchorman announcement also compromises Wahlberg's availability. Wahlberg's obligation to the new shooting schedule for Lone Survivor now conflicts with the Anchorman shoot, which further compromises the shooting schedule for Three Mississippi. The movie is another Ferrell pet project scheduled to begin filming this fall, and he didn't want to delay it since studios were ready to go. So, Wahlberg's out.Luckily for the Thanksgiving family film, the Sandler-Anders addition brings another good comedy pair that simply replaces the Ferrell-McKay pair. This battle is not only a showdown between two teams of superheroes, but also in essence a faceoff between the two biggest comic book companies of all time - Marvel vs DC.In the world of movies, The Avengers have no equal. Marvel's unstoppable force has already earned more than $1.25 Billion dollars at the worldwide box office and will soon become the third highest grossing movie of all time. Not to mention the success of the films from teammates Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America. Combined, the franchise has garnered nearly $3 billion in total box office.The Justice League, on the other hand, have a huge disadvantage in the fact that there is yet to be a Justice League movie and only three of the characters have ever graced the big screen. Lucky for them though, two of those characters happen to be among the most popular and iconic comic book characters ever. The Superman franchise has earned over a billion dollars at the box office while Batman has earned over $2.6 billion. Despite the disappointing performance of the Green Lantern film, the Justice League members together have earned more than The Avengers team combined and they still have a little movie called The Dark Knight Rises to help push that number even further.Like The Avengers, the Justice League has had many different members throughout their existence. A Justice League movie, when it eventually gets made, would most likely consist of Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, the Flash and possibly Green Arrow. In a previous faceoff between Iron Man and Batman, Batman took a close victory. So does that mean Justice League have the advantage on this faceoff? Not necessarily. The two characters most likely to be the deciding factor in this battle would be Superman for The Justice League and The Hulk for The Avengers. Could Hulk's unstoppable rage power be enough to take down Superman or would one mighty toss into the depths of space be enough to stop the green monster?So which team do you think would come out on top? The three lucky stars are Mirror, Mirror's Armie Hammer, Battleship's Taylor Kitsch, and Tron Legacy's Garret Hedlund. The franchise's studio, Lionsgate, has neither confirmed nor denied the casting rumors but to me it'll be hard to go wrong with any of these three dreamy guys. Armie, Taylor, and Garret have all developed quite the star status and according to a source Lionsgate might decide to go a whole other route instead and cast an unknown to take on the role.When asked about the casting rumors the Lionsgate rep said "As with the first film, we won't be confirming, denying or commenting on any casting rumors for this title. We will announce news wide when there is official casting news to announce."Hopefully Lionsgate will ease all our minds and announce the casting soon! Lets discuss---So we all know that "Iron Man 3′ is currently filming in wilminton with Shane black at the helm...what we DON'T know is....WHO IS THE VILLIAN!?!There have been many rumors that star Ben Kingsley would in fact be taking on the role of the legendary villain, but Marvel has continuously denied that Mandarin would be appearing in the film at all. Now, two sources are saying that they have in fact confirmed Mandarin's appearance in the film.ComicBook.com spoke to an unnamed crew member on the set who revealed that Mandarin was definitely the villain and he in fact had "twins" who did most of his dirty work for him.Latino Review has also confirmed that Kingsley would appear as Mandarin in Iron Man 3, but doubts the report that he would be utilizing twins. They also revealed that though Mandarin would appear in the film, Guy Pearce is actually the main villain with Mandarin acting more as a silent partner to Pearce's character, Aldrich Killian, who is the inventor of Extremis and uses it to build an army that will most likely include alternate versions of the villains Coldblood and Firepower that appear in the comics.So what do you think of Mandarin appearing in Iron Man 3, but not as the main villain? She's a bit of a con-woman, something of a grifter. A hard-edged kind of criminal."Chris' younger brother Jonathan Nolan, who you guys may already know, co-wrote the script, elaborated on why Catwoman was a MUST for the finale....he said, "Chris often comes from a position of, 'Why should we do this?' You know, presumed guilty. But I said, 'What we're endeavoring to do here is tell a complete take on the Batman mythos.' And a complete take of the Batman mythos without the character for me was sacrilegious."He also explained that there was mystery behind, if shes a good guy or bad guy----and in the ends, shes kinda neither, which is why she is such a crucial figure in the finale. Despite the crucial need for the character in 'The Dark Knight Rises', Nolan revealed that the character will never actually be referred to as "Catwoman" in the film.
