In Cahoots - Vortex 2009 (2)
Canterbury jazz-fusion outfit In Cahoots premiering its new line-up at London's jazz venue the Vortex in November 2009. Led by guitarist Phil Miller (ex-Matching Mole, Hatfield and the North, National Health, etc.), the band also includes longtime members Peter Lemer (keyboards), Fred Baker (bass) and Mark Fletcher (drums), plus newcomers Paul Booth (saxes) and Mark Armstrong (trumpet). Tracks performed include "Flashpoint" and "Conspiracy Theories" (both from 2006's "Conspiracy Theories"), "ED Or Ian" (from 1996's "Parallel") and finally "Your Roots 2", one of the band's oldest tunes.
