MusicDishTV Presents Love Is Real By Terrence Hamilton
Terrence Hamilton's video and single "Love Is Real," produced and written by Troy Davis and Hamilton himself, is about a man whose business is cramping his personal life with the woman that he loves as he tries to find a balance between the two song, I was instantly reminded of Boys II Men, as Hamilton has a comparable voice, which he wields as an instrument, delivering a stellar performance. The video initially shows a man torn between his schedule and his lady, and is followed by Hamilton singing the track. Every note is precise and pitch perfect. A female singer who bears an amazing similarity to Mariah Carey's vocal style provides some accompaniment and does a great job at it, adding just enough flavor and accent to this love ballad. The arrangement is perfect, and it has a very ole school sound, which is the perfect backdrop for the song and message. Hamilton definitely has a future in the music industry and if he continues to write and record such moving songs as this one that contains a beautiful message, he'll go quite far. Fans of many genres will like this video and track, which could easily go mainstream, although it has an R&B base. MusicDishTV Presents Gimme Dat By Industry Ready V
The video "Gimme Dat" takes a very interesting approach as the plot is laid out in a story form and the talented young rapper enters telling a deep, sobering, but very real story and asking the question that separates humans from the apes from which we supposedly evolved - Why? Why must things be the way they are? He then gives some very hard core answers that slice straight through to the truth like a knife cutting through butter. It's not Robin Hood, it's "robbing in the hood." A serious mix of interesting piano, drums, synth, and percussion make this a message that is easy to listen to. The video director was very talented in aggressive in his (or her) approach. The music is one of a kind with lyrics that will captivate you, delivering the sad details about what's going on in the hood and describing the mentality of young brothers who do the terrible things with which our television screens and newspapers are bombarded. "Gimme Dat" is real talk set to music, and at the end, you will find yourself wanting to hear and see more, and you might just find yourself wanting the "bad guys" to get away. Nicely done. MusicDishTV Presents Girl You're Free KC Jockey
The video "Girl, You're Free" is significant and sobering, detailing the struggle of a woman who is being abused. Knowing that there are people who really endure such trauma makes it a difficult, but necessary watch. It was tastefully and professionally done, and KC Jockey really accomplished his goal of helping to bring this cause to the forefront, as it's something that people rarely talk about, but should. KC Jockey easily takes an unpleasant topic and delivers a song that is not only entertaining, danceable, and likeable, but deep and thought provoking. This is a song that both men and women can relate to, and should be appreciated en masse. Some will want to play it often as a source of strength and comfort. "Girl, You're Free" scores a perfect 10 on every level, and music lovers of all genres will want to add this track to their collection. MusicDishTV Presents Satisfy My Soul By Dwayna Litz
In the video "Satisfy My Soul," Dwayna Litz performs a jazz swinging rendition of the song by the same name, which was first recorded by Ella Johnson in 1950. Dwayna's unique vocal style is well complemented by a terrific horn section, growling alto sax, and soulful piano backing her up all the way. The plunger trumpet solo is perfect as we watch Dwayna dancing to "Satisfy My Soul." Viewers will be reminded of Bonnie Raitt as they watch Dwayna's relaxed and confident performance. The band arrangement swings with a New Orleans shuffle, complementing Dwayna with everything from stop time to a Louis Armstrong style horn solo. "Satisfy My Soul" will definitely satisfy both viewers and listeners, and will have you tapping your feet to the beat. "Satisfy My Soul" is from the album "Counting Your Blessings," which is available for purchase at iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby. Email: tv@musicdish.net Website: http://www.DwaynaLitz.com

Hip hop artist Dolo The Bandit brings the party to you in the video "Roach Clips" with strong rapping and good music. The artist steps up to the home plate and hits a home run with this track. Tony Newton Groovemonster Movie Trailer
Groovemonster, a Quantum Media Arts film, propels viewers through a historical journey of the electric bass, Motown’s heyday and, (Antonio) Tony Newton’s prolific musical career. With historical accuracy and engaging pacing, this movie will both inform and entertain. Through the chronology of Newton’s life via candid and raw interview material, we follow Tony as he navigates an abusive stepmother, crime-laden Detroit in the 60s (as a professional, teenage musician), and the harsh (often unfair) politics of an industry full of egomaniacs. Somehow (and in stark contrast to many talented musicians), Newton rises above the fray. Besides the obvious musical successes (Gold and Platinum recordings), he masters piano (even writing entire symphonies), designs the three-necked bass guitar, and continues to evolve as a musician and (just as admirably) a highly intelligent, spiritual philosopher. Perhaps this last element is what, ironically, sets Groovemonster apart from the typical “music history” documentary or “star” biography—Newton’s gentle wisdom, intimate reflection, and insightful analysis. Overall, Groovemonster appeals to musicians, music fans and anyone who appreciates the heights one can soar with enough perseverance, dedication, and purpose. The film tells Newton's passionate and inspirational saga through live concert footage, interviews, narration, and historical photos. GROOVEMONSTER uses a dynamic new format "Music Cinema" which features both live concert performances and recordings from the CD album. The GROOVEMONSTER movie also comes in an innovative triple-pak, "Xtreme Entertainment Bundle," including the "Gold Thunder Book," and a “FREE” "Thunderfunkfusion" CD album from the iconic Newton. *** Quantum Arts Media Films http://www.Groovemonstermovie.com Email: TonyNewton777@Yahoo.com
MusicDishTV Presents Take A Number By Pop RnB Singer Baiyu
"Take A Number" by Pop/R&B artist Baiyu is a very refreshing track and video that incorporates elements of dance and hip hop with Baiyu's incredible vocals and style. This is an instantly likeable track that will appeal to music lovers of all genres who appreciate a great song. Well produced, it never lets up from beginning to end and keeps you entranced with the lyrics and beat. Baiyu shows that she's both sexy and strong with her dress, attitude, moves, and performance. In the video, she sings the track in a variety of outdoor scenes - none of which are fancy, but it's not necessary to get her point across. The track is so lyrically strong, and Baiyu exudes so much sexiness and confidence that "props" and fancy scenes were simply irrelevant. Viewers will "Take A Number" to line up on the dance floor to move to this groove. It's one that will keep the club and party scene bumping, and is also perfect for just hanging out with the girls or guys or cruising down the highway. MusicDishTV Presents Duane O'Conner's "The Hunt Is On"
Calypso superstar Duane O'Conner's video "The Hunt Is On" is full of energy, humor and fun as it addresses serious social and political issues. It's very entertaining, danceable calypso music, and in the video he gives a live, spirited, captivating performance at the Dimanche Gras 2012, parading and marching around the stage singing and entertaining the crowd in Trinidad while wearing a bulletproof vest over his suit. The brass section leads the way of the calypso band which has strong horns and vibrant background singers. The video was obviously shot with a camcorder, but this doesn't take away from Duane's intense charisma which endures from beginning to end. The video ends as 'Mr. Gibbs' comes onstage and Duane hands over the mike, only to be escorted (all in fun) from the stage. The crowd lights up and is under Duane's spell for the duration, hypnotized by his lyrics, the story, and the delivery of it. With performances like this, it's understandable how he dethroned Karene Asche at the Calypso Monarch competition, walking away with both the title and the $1 million that came with it. Mi2N.com - MusicDishTV Presents F--- The IRS By Cutting Edge
In Cutting Edge's video, "F--- The IRS," directed by J. Fassler and highly entertaining, the band creatively uses stock footage of a concert they are not actually performing in to insert scenes of themselves playing and singing their song, which is an 80's style rock track, with synthesizers, great guitar solos, banging percussion, and horn section hits. Released on the Thunder Quest Records label, the video shows multiple images - all stimulating - including a packed and screaming audience, a variety of animated symbols and still shots, and scenes of Americans working hard only to have large percentages of their salaries given away to the IRS. The concept is captivating and the video and track are both enjoyable, satirical, and moving and grooving. It's a refreshing look at a deeply annoying topic and most Americans will pat their feet, snap their fingers, bob their heads, and laugh out loud to this video, which was perfectly done. This is followed by a black background in which logos with the following words appear as "The Uprise" plays in the background: "The Uprise...7Even...EP Release...The Dream...G Code...Let Freedom Ring..." MusicDishTV Presents "Titanic" by Steve Orchard
Steve Orchard's video "Titanic" from the brilliant new age, instrumental music album "Undersail" begins with a ghost ship, slow harp introduction, waves, and a scene of a lone diver with rays of sun shining onto the ocean. Viewers will become captivated by pictures of this grand ship being built. Initially, the deck and wheel of the ship are first shown in pristine condition, but as the video continues, it becomes one big wreckage at the bottom of the sea while the music guides you along the journey, tugging at your heartstrings all the way. The video and track allow you experience many difference feelings as you listen as secrets come to light and your mind connects to the music via images. The video is fascinating, and the pictures are touching and thought provoking. Strong percussion and a steady piano and harp grab you by the emotions and never let go as you feel yourself becoming part of the story, which is indeed a tragic one, but one that must be told nonetheless. It ends as it started, but with an ominous harp, and the waves are the last sound you hear. "Undersail" will be released by AD Music on CD and MP3, and available from iTunes and other major online retailers on April 13th. With a grooving track that flows nicely with breaks and a great hook, "U & I" shows that even a warrior can be hurt by certain things, with his woman leaving him being at the top of the list. MusicDishTV Presents Give It To Me Now By NazB
Pleasure and lots of it is the driving force behind NazB's video "Give It To Me Now." The video, directed by Shamsheed Sobha (Studio-S) is a very high quality professional one, and is so full of heat that you just might need a cold shower after watching it. With a strong, thumping beat, the base, keyboards, pipes, and drums provide the perfect backdrop for NazB's colorful and creative lyrics about having his desires fulfilled without delay, declaring - "Shorty, give it to me raw/Give it to me now". Beautiful seductive women, fine cars, dancers, and a hot club scene work well together to convey the message that life is all about living it at the top and having what you want when you want it. No waiting allowed - if, of course, you can kick it like NazB. Visually stimulating, "Give It To Me Now" is racy, powerful and captivating. Though the message is simple, it is one that is delivered powerfully as NazB sets it off in both English and French, which has a reputation for being the language of love. His accent and tone combine perfectly with the pulse of the music to provide a video experience extraordinaire. Website: http://www.nazb.com Video: http://youtu.be/oRl0mv7DHRo
MusicDishTV Presents "Showroom Ready" By Millenium
You should dress for the job you want, not for the job you already have: If there's one outfit living this old business maxim to the max, it's Millenium. The Los Angeles-based group are making a big stride into the big time with the video for their first single, 'Showroom Ready'. "Showroom Ready is about the immaculate lifestyle. It's how you choose to roll," says Millenium rapper Young Fit. True to his word, the band have produced a promo clip which bathes you in the dream-like sheen of silk, marble and crystal chandeliers - in short, the good life. Forget excess - forget face tattoos, gaudy grills, celebrity meltdowns and rehab. Millennium's vision is something more refined, purer - how to enjoy life. They say living well is the best revenge, and yet Millenium are nobody's foe. And in spite of the philandering, jet-setting and easy living celebrated by their promo video, they still end up, in its final minute, on stage as a band, performing to a flock of fans who are just waving their hands in the air and having fun. As vocalist K-King says, "Showroom Ready is one of those songs that just reaches out and slaps you in the face. It's entertaining, it's fun, it's pure Millennium." Musically speaking, Millenium are also more down-to-earth than the competition. Rapper Young Fit, singer K-King and singer/composer Stryker are backed up by a live band: Monte McConnell (drums), Jiro Tanaka (bass) and Jasun Edelman (guitar/keys). Not for them the vacuum-packed sound of commercial R&B. The broad range of the individual band members' musical interests come into play in their collective songwriting; Jiro's skillful funk bassline is only the highlight of a fresh and tight musical package. And, bear in mind, 'Showroom Ready', is just the tip of a musical iceberg. Milennium's debut album, Game Changer, is set for release on May 1. 16mins's Music Video "XXRR" Closing Winner For MusicDish*China MV Competition
The word "independent (underground) music" first appeared in China almost two decades ago. Without doubt, Beijing, the capital of China, is a nest for some of the most pioneering and vibrant indie music. What is it like to be the only-child generation, facing a world of change and uncertainty? Beijing based indie rock band 16mins (16分钟) music video "XXRR (熙熙攘攘)" says it all. Set through Beijing's subways and major roadways, the juxtaposition sequence of personal experience with the public space reflects a critical background of cultural and political dimensions of post-socialist generation. The fragment of personal encounter with a mixture of unsettling feeling of contraction serve as the core subject throughout the music video. Dazed and confused, the musician, as an isolated subject in the neon city embodies a strong sense of insecurity. ShanShan Wang, MusicDish*China Experimental indie band 16 mins' new video "XXRR" stretches the musical boundaries to the max. Filmed in Beijing, one really interesting thing about the video is that it focuses on motion in many forms -- cars on the highway, people walking, buses, stairs, and escalators. The lead singer seems to be unable to find her way to the place she wants to be, and she appears to be in a sea of people and yet all alone. The lyrical melody is sung very softly in what seem to be maneuvered acoustics, which adds an interesting element to the song. "XXRR" is definitely a video that viewers will talk about as it leaves a lot open to interpretation and some creative mental gymnastics. MusicDishTV presents The Wind by Dream Chemistry
Dream Chemistry's single "The Wind" finds nature to be full of music. The uplifting nature of the song is paired nicely with the beautiful landscapes shot on location in Arizona (one should expect nothing less). The sun is used several times in overlaid shots, adding additional symbolism to the rising sun and sun-drenched hills. The band is a colorful cast of characters, with long black hair or a straw hat and quirky looking instruments. They look as if they just appeared out of the desert dust, an effect reinforced by the opening scene where each instrument fades in, with the musicians' name floating across the screen. It seems almost like the start of a folk tale, not a music video. With the lead singer Dellynn, taking the lead on camera time, viewers get a sense of her presence and her energy. She seems to believe in message of her song so intensely it becomes infectious. The complex layers of folk instruments and rich female vocal bring a wholeness to the song. The musicians illustrate their well-honed craft, focusing on their playing over camera candy, which maybe why some of the shots of the band without their instruments seems almost out of place within the song. While there are some fleeting moments where a camera shot do not ring true, the music is stunningly real and honest. Dream Chemistry certainly gives the viewer something to sing about. MusicDishTV Presents "By The End Of" by Dead Smiling Pirates
Denmark natives Dead Smiling Pirates went for a more meaningful message this time around with their video for their new single, "By The End Of". The band has forgone any screen time to try and send a message about the pain of war and the trials of a soldier. Which at the moment is timely for so many people around the world. Sounding very much like one of their influences, Blink 182, it could be said that Dead Smiling Pirates finds a way to sound like nineties pop-punk while staying current with vocal harmonies and interesting riffs from their other influence, Muse. One of the more impressive sections of the video is a ten second sequence within the footage, where the cuts are in time with the music. The segment is probably the most hard hitting and resonant of the video. The video is mostly longer lingering clips showing war and injury, with Iwo Jima footage giving a gritty portrayal with a somewhat eerie feeling of anticipation building. Towards something else, towards a bigger conflict, a more graphic or dramatic scene, and as the video goes on it get slightly darker, showing a few of the dead men on the beach the music then goes in "for the kill" to drive home the message. The band has a very connected sound, they make sense together, cleverly pairings of influences and chords, results in a solid sound, and the visuals are interesting, it seems that the viewer may want more from the band by the end.
