Timati (Russian: Тимати — incorrect transliteration of name Timothy) is the stage name of Russian rapper, pop-singer, musician, actor and businessman Timur Ildarovich Yunusov (Russian: Тиму́р Ильда́рович Юну́сов), also referred as Mr. Black Star. Timati was born on August 15, 1983 in Moscow to Jewish mother and Tatar father. Lived in Los Angeles for 5 years, now lives in Moscow. Well known to the Russian community from the music reality show Star Factory 4. Member of Banda group (Russian: Банда) ("Gang" in English) and co-founder of VIP77. Underground Atlanta rapper, Baby D (born as Donald B. Jenkins. on November 5, 1983) was only 16 when his first album, Off Da Chain, was released in 2000 on Big Oomp Records. Two years later his follow up, Lil' Chopper Toy was released to much underground acclaim. A major label bidding war ensued, garnering the young MC a multi-million dollar deal with Epic Records. He is now signed with Koch Records, and is preparing to release his first mainstream album, "A-Town Secret Weapon", on April 29th. -Town Secret Weapon is the upcoming album by Atlanta-based rapper Baby D, schedulded to be released April 29th, 2008. The first single from the album is "Im Bout Money", wich features Blaze . A video of the song has been released on March 20th, 2008. The album features collaborations with Pastor Troy, Sean P of Youngbloodz, Gucci Mane, Shawty Lo and Blaze. Surprisingly the track "Yuuugh!", which was meant to be the first single off the album, didn't make it to the final tracklist. Also, no collaborations with Oomp Camp fellow rapper Unk is found on the record.
Stacks Ft. Jah Cure - Flyin High [new]
Jah Cure, reggae star and new addition to SoBe Entertainment in a joint deal with Danger Zone Music Group, collaborated with Stack$ on the track "Flyin High," recorded in Jamaica. The music video was filmed all throughout Jamaica in locations never filmed before and was released on 4/20 for national smoke day. Stack$ is a rapper out of Miami, FL signed to SoBe Entertainment. His first single was "Money Ova Here" featuring Lil Wayne which was followed by the single "What You Lookin At?" featuring Swizz Beatz. Young Jeezy recently collaborated with Stack$ on the mix-tape single "Talk Is Cheap" featuring Nu Jerzey Devil and Phylissia. Stack$ album "CraZee & ConfuZed" is scheduled to drop late Summer 08.
