He is shooting a 7 1/2" barrel, .44/40 Colt SAA out of an Alfonso Fast Draw rig with a bullet deflector plate His hand is off the gun when he starts his draw. He doesn't cock the gun until it leaves the holster and is pointing down range. He thumbs the second shot. He is not shooting wimpy loads. The targets are ringing as loud as a church bell! He DOESN'T miss!
