Pascal Sander and Simon Geminiani teamed up with some locals to check out the MINI Snowpark Feldberg in the middle of march. Austrian wunderkind Luca Tribondeau just qualified in 1st place at the Jon Olsson Invitational Big Air in Åre, Sweden. The sixteen year old sent triple cork 1440 after triple cork 1440 deep into the landing, stomping it every time and going far bigger than anyone else. Even tough the season is on the final run, the snow is still falling - perfect for another freeride shooting Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. This time the 5 open routes on the Serfaus side had to be examined. What an awesome season in the Snowpark Gstaad? Especially the Freeski scene is pumping and also the last spring shoot was a nice gathering of all the local boys who definitely threw down some bangers. On occasion of La Freestyla, the best freeskiers from Italy, Austria, Germany and many other nations gathered at the beautiful Alta Badia in order to rake in the last points for the big QParks Tour Finals! The riders showed their best tricks of the season and demonstrated the spectators and judges how creative you could shred the slopestyle course! A Down Tube/Wallride jib combo, two kickers with 10 and 12 meters each as well as a Quarter Pipe completed the contest setup on Saturday, March 30th 2013, at the QParks Tour Stop La Freestyla. The creative line enjoyed popularity among snowboarders and freeskiers and even though the weather became worse and worse the riders stayed motivated.
