EMA 2008 - Liverpool - LAST WEEK TO GET TICKETS!
Yes, we KNOW you want to go to the biggest party of the year: the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards are taking place on 6 November 2008 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool. And we want you there. Really, we do. So here's the deal: we have a limited number of tickets available for purchase. So we're going to run a ballot to determine who can get their mitts on them. Tickets will be £60.00 each, plus a £3.00 booking fee and an additional charge of £4.95 for shipping and handling. Here are some rules (don't worry, we're making them real easy to follow. After all, rules and MTV don't really go): You can only apply once per household for the opportunity to buy up to 4 tickets. Please only select the number of tickets you wish to purchase if you are successful or you run the risk of losing them all! The ballot will run from 16:00 BST 8 September 2008 until 18:00 BST on 4 October, 2008. You've got to be 16 or older to come to the show but the person who registers for tickets must be 18 or older. Once you have registered, none of the details on this registration form can be changed. The cardholder's details must be entered on the registration form as tickets will only be posted to the registered cardholder's address. So make sure you put the correct info in there, will ya? You will be notified via email in the week commencing 6 October 2008 if you've been successful, followed by a phone call later in the month to finalise the booking. The tickets will be aimed to be delivered by 26 October 2008. Because the event is primarily a television program (that whole 'TV' part of MTV), you may be required to sit or stand in positions that have views obscured by production equipment.

This year, MTV is inviting its audience to vote in 10 of the 11 categories, including three brand new awards – New Act, Best Act Ever and Europe’s Favourite. These new awards underline MTV’s continuing commitment to new and regional artists as well as ongoing support for established artists. The remaining award – Video Star - will be decided by MTV.
