You're tuned in to ClevverMusic here on YouTube. Katy Perry set off fireworks unintentionally yesterday during a Twitter war with rapper Chief Keef. On May 21st Katy tweeted, "Just heard a new song on the radio called 'I Hate Being Sober' I now have serious doubt for the world. That song's singer, 17-year-old Chicago rapper Chief Keef got wind of the tweet a couple days later! On Thursday night he tweeted a not-so-nice response to Katy, "Dat bitch Katy Perry Can Suck Skin Off of my D***", and then another one saying, "I'll Smack The Sh** out her". He also teased that a new Katy diss track would be coming saying, "New Song Katy Perry Coming Soon". But as soon as Katy took a moment to log into her account to see all this madness she tried to make amends. The ever sweet Katy tweeted, "Mr. Keef! I'm sorry if I offended you. I heard a lot of people guesting on the song & didn't even know it was you in particular." She also tweeted that she was a fan of his "Don't Like" video and that seemed to do the trick. He retweeted her apology and her compliment and all seems to have simmered down.To us, it was all a misunderstanding. Katy obviously didn't intentionally mean to diss Chief, she was just trying to joke about society. Former American Idol and diva Jennifer Hudson has signed on to be a judge on American Idol Season 13! Thanks for tuning back in to ClevverMusic news here on YouTube. Sadly, the current 'Idol' judges: Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, and Randy Jackson will ALL not be returning next season on the show. Likely, in an effort to revive the dropping ratings on the TV show- yikes Fox! The first new judge name that multiple sources have confirmed is former 'Idol' Jennifer Hudson! Honestly, we think this is a perfect idea as she is one of the most successful Idols the show has ever seen, despite Jennifer coming in 7th place in Season 3. Jennifer has starred in movies such as "Dreamgirls" for which she won an Academy Award and recently starred in the TV show 'Smash'. All of that on top of her successful music career, our favorite J. Hud song is "All Dressed in Love" from the Sex & The City Movie, which she also starred in as Carrie Bradshaw's loving assistant. J. Hud also won a Grammy for Best R&B Album for her self-titled record, "Jennifer Hudson".Other rumored judges for the new season 13 of American Idol include the original winner, Kelly Clarkson, as well as Adam Lambert or Clay Aiken. As you know, Cash Money is home to Nicki Minaj, Drake, Jay Sean, Lil Wayne and more.Hip hop fans may have seen this coming, as Paris was recently featured in Birdman's new "Tapout" music video as a seductive waitress who stole a mansion host's fortunes. And now she will be stealing the airwaves. Paris' upcoming second album follows up her debut album "Paris" back in 2006 which produced the hit song "Stars are Blind" which reached No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. But not so fast, it seems this album will take a different turn musically. Paris says the record will be produced by her pal Afrojack whom she has worked with in the past, and will feature label mate Lil Wayne and other hip hop acts. And don't expect it to be pop music Paris will be pumping out, she said that the record, "It's really going to be house music." And she hopes to have it out by Summer, with a single coming very soon. Label exec Birdman tweeted to confirm the news yesterday, "Welcome @parishilton to tha Family. RichgangRichgirl. YMCMB". Birdman told the LA Times why he signed Paris, "I was impressed by her music, and I didn't know she could sing so well." Well we hope to be pleasantly surprised when we hear that new single! Korean singer Psy has obtained much success from his first Global single "Gangnam Style" and his newest hit worldwide track "Gentleman". It seems only appropriate that he put out a full-length international album right? In an interview with MTV at American Idol finale, the K-Pop star leaked that he is busy traveling throughout June promoting his "Gentleman" single, but is hoping to focus on his album when he returns. Psy said, "I'm going to be done by end of June, and then, after that I'm really going to work hard on the album, so that hopefully I can release it during the summer season." Keep in mind Psy already has 6 albums, but this will be his first worldwide release.If you ask us, Psy is sure one busy man, so a summer album seems hard to pull off. Psy recently performed on the finale for DWTS, the finale for American Idol, and presented at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas over the past weekend. However, one place Psy has not made an appearance is at the Cannes Film Festival, but a Psy lookalike has! A Psy imposter has been roaming Cannes in his signature round glasses and suit. The poser has been enjoying himself at the festival for a couple days, posing with celebs, attending parties, and appeared in a video for a French radio station on how to do the "Gangnam Style" dance! Psy took light of his impersonator by tweeting, "seems like there's another ME at cannes...say HI to him @scooterbraun lol #PSYinSIGNAPORE." 'The Voice' opened with coach Blake Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert performing an emotional duet of their hit song "Over You", take a look.Coach Blake is from Oklahoma and told us after the show he is planning an Oklahoma Tornado Victim benefit show for his home stage, so be sure to check that interview out for more. To add to the somber tone of the Top 10 elimination show fan favorite Josiah Hawley from Team Usher was sent home. We talked to him after the show and he said he woke up with a feeling he might go home. Check out our chat with him to hear what he plans to do next. Also eliminated was Team Shakira's Kris Thomas. All the coaches performed with their contestants on the show and we loved Shakira taking the stage with Kris and Sasha Allen to perform "I'll Stand By You" take a look.Shakira looked amazing in that performance and we loved hearing her version of the classic track. That performance was also an appropriate reminder in light of the Oklahoma tragedy to help those in need. Hello my darling music friends, you are tuned in to ClevverMusic here on YouTube. Kanye West has been furiously hard at work in Paris, France on his 6th solo album. On Friday, May 17th, Yeezy finally gave us the first taste of his new music with a song called "New Slaves". He launched the song with a film projection on the outside of 66 buildings around the world in ten cities including Los Angeles, New York, London and more. The track hears Kanye rap to a simple electronic beat, here's some lyrics that explain the song, "F*** you and your corporation, y'all n***** can't control me/ I know that we the new slaves, I know that we the new slaves". So according to Kanye big business has made us all slaves. Now just the next day Kanye was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live.Kanye first performed new track "Black Skinhead" on a dark stage with only a projection behind him reading "Not For Sale" and other coupon signs flash on the screen throughout the song. The track sound features a catchy drum beat with Kanye scream-singing the lyrics, "You see a black man with a white woman/ At the top floor they gone come to kill King Kong/ Middle America packed in/ Came to see me in my black skin". Seems Kanye gets more and more political with time.Next, Mr. West performed previously heard "New Slaves" with the same black set and projection behind him as the first performance. Except this time, a close up shot of Kanye's eyes was seen on screen behind him and it was a tad creepy. And there is more where that came from. His new album is rumored to be called "Yeezus", likely a combo of his Yeezy nickname and the world Jesus. Not surprising to us as we know he has a song named "I Am God" forthcoming as well. An Instagram post by his girlfriend Kim Kardashian confirmed the album name, take a look at this pic, we see the album cover has some sort of gold figure on it with the word "YEEZUS". The album likely will drop June 18 as Kanye previously tweeted the date and then deleted it. And guess who might be featured on the album? Will Smith! He recently confirmed the two were in the studio together a couple times. Thanks for tuning back into ClevverMusic X Factor fans. Fox has announced that it will be 3 beauties and 1 Brit on the panel for the upcoming 3rd season of 'X Factor USA'. For the first time on any reality singing show in America, women will outnumber men on the panel. Girl power! Joining returning judge Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell will be former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland and Global artist Paulina Rubio. Grammy winner Kelly Rowland should come as no surprise as the rumor of her signing the deal have been swarming around for a while and she judged on the 8th season of the UK version of the show. Ms. Rowland also a new album coming in June so it seems Kelly is back in a big way- I mean she did just perform with Beyoncé at the Super Bowl in February too. As far as Paulina, she's no stranger to judging either, she was a mentor on the Mexican version of 'The Voice' and so far the only judge we know of that has crossed over from another show! Paulina is a worldwide star, but most known in the US for her hit "Don't Say Goodbye" in 2002. Mr. Simon Cowell is of course stoked to be in the company of all women on the show saying, "It's taken more than a decade but I'm delighted to finally be on a panel with three girls (I think!). Paulina and Kelly both have great taste and massive experience in the music industry and together with Demi, this is going to be a fun panel. It just feels like the time to do something different."
