Model European Union 2010: five portraits
Starting April 10th, around 180 young people from 23 countries gathered for a week at the European Parliament of Strasbourg. Their goal? To get to know better how the EU works by "playing" the role of either a Member of the Parliament, a lobbyist, a Minister, an interpreter or a journalist. We have met five of them for European Youth Press.

The Solidarity Express 2009
Between August 26 and September 2, more than two hundred young people from over forty countries travelled throughout Poland to discover the country’s history. Their journey began in Krakow, continued north to Warsaw and ended in Gdańsk. The programme included a visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, lectures by prominent personalities of European public life, conferences, workshops, but also visits to several museums, a meeting with Lech Wałęsa, the former Polish president, and, of course, guided tours around the three cities. A video report by Pierre-Anthony Canovas
