As with other speciality Pinball FX 2 tables, this one is designed to recreate a given property in pinball form...in this case, the Xbox Live Arcade game Ms. Splosion Man. So fans of that game should be able to rationalize the insanity transpiring on this table. There are rocket barrels, treadmills, cannons and more destructible objects than a science experiment gone awry could blow up in three charges. What's interesting about this table is that it's really easy to rack up a high score. The table makes it pretty easy to get your points into the millions, but you quickly learn the table is actually on a curve, so to speak. Your score may seem high, but you're still a long way from mastering the Ms. Splosion Man table. Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of WILLIAMS PINBALL HALL OF FAME for the Playstation 2 video game console systems. The proper name of the game is PINBALL HALL OF FAME: THE WILLIAMS COLLECTION. Do you like pinball? F Yeah! And this game does a great job of bringing the retro classic old school arcade game home to your gameroom. The gameplay is solid, the graphics are nice and the footage from the review shows all of that. Enjoy several Williams brand pinball classics like Gorgar, Space Shuttle, Firepower, Pinbot, Funhouse, Taxi, Whirlwind and Black Knight. (but no Bride of Pinbot!??) Mutiball, multi-ball! Shoot the extra ball, up the ramp, don't mess up, ahhhhhhh!!!! Pinball is awesome and it needs to come back into style. This game is also available on the Wii and PSP. While I was watching "The Dick Van Dyke Show", you knew that I saw it coming. There may still be hope of finding a Viacom Pinball logo. This one was way out of sync. This Pinball logo would have been unplastered and aired until till sometime about the 1990s. It's a shame that is really so close. :(

Metroid Prime Pinball is a clever pinball interpretation of Retro Studios' GameCube masterpiece. This game retells the basic story of Metroid Prime, however loosely, on a pinball table. You're visiting familiar locations like Phendrana Drifts and the Phazon Mines, only this time, you're a pinball. The premise works for a few reasons, the most obvious being Samus Aran herself. The protagonist of the Metroid series, one of her abilities dating back to her NES debut is her morph ball. Her mechanical suit of armor allows her to roll into a sphere in the Metroid titles, so putting her in a pinball game makes total sense.
