Sanctum 2 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Sanctum 2 on the Xbox Live Arcade for the Xbox 360 developed by Coffee Stain Studios and published by D3Publisher. There are a lot of games like Sanctum 2, but you have to combine two of them to get the same effect. That's because Sanctum 2 is a unique hybrid of two very different genres, mixing the shooting action of the FPS with the turret-placing of tower defense. The game's sci-fi story is told through comic-like stills, detailing a struggle between your four selectable characters and a horde of monsters trying to attack the core. You start Sanctum 2 by placing towers and creating a maze, and then, the game turns into a shooter. It's a tower defense game that actually places you in the trenches. Dogz 2 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Dogz 2 for the Nintendo DS developed and published by Ubisoft. Dogz 2 is a pet simulator, but more in name than gameplay. Although you choose a pet puppy from several breeds and occasionally interact with it on your touch screen, the majority of Dogz 2 is spent collecting household objects and using them to decorate. You "buy" these items by playing card games and various minigames, like bowling. It's a strange proposition to ask its young audience to play poker or blackjack to unlock a frisbee, but if you're looking for a unique take on pet games, Dogz 2 is certainly that. It's nothing like Nintendogs, which is both a good thing and a bad thing.
