Release Date: May 17, 2013 Star Trek into Darkness is an upcoming American science fiction action film directed by J. J. Abrams, written by Alex Kurtzman, Damon Lindelof and Roberto Orci, and produced by Abrams, Kurtzman, Lindelof, Orci and Bryan Burk. It is the twelfth Star Trek film and serves as the sequel to 2009′s Star Trek. Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg and John Cho return to reprise their roles from the previous film. It is set to be released on May 17, 2013.

Apparently the star is certain that this follow up film, The Wolverine, will be bigger and badder than before, with a lot more action and even more character development. Jackman said quote "It's about a guy completely out of his element, in this world that's foreign to him, and how he copes with that. I feel like we have the opportunity to deliver that badass, kick-ass Wolverine I know everybody wants to see." Well, good because all that skipping and smiling you did in the last few movies was not working. I kid, I kid. In all seriousness though, Jackman has been working really hard this time around, and even his fellow actors on set are noticing. TotalFilm, spoke to actor Will Yun Lee about Jackman's work, after seeing some of his playbacks on set Lee said quote "hes no joke" and that he was "in the best shape I've ever seen him in all of the X-mens." Speaking of Will Yun Lee, the actor has been rumored to be playing the Silver Samurai in the film, but he wouldn't comment on that, but he did say he was taking a serious beating on set saying quote "The movie's stunt team 8711 is probably the best in the business, In training they beat me up all day, and I could barely walk home." He also emphasized that the fighting style was going to be more Japanese specific, and that timing was everything in their fighting choreography because apparently Wolverine's claws are very dangerous. Lee said quote "even though they're fake, you're still just a fraction away from getting hit in the eye!" So, is your interest peaked yet? Well, the good news is we may only be a few days away from seeing a sneak peak of the film. Director, James Mangold tweeted that he would be posting a "tweazer" on March 26th, and a full 1 minute and 56 second teaser on the 27th, with the official trailer arriving on the 29th in theaters.
