Ted Ligety knows a thing of two about speed. Between the Olympic gold medal to his name and his four additional World Championship gold medals he's seen plenty of the slopes. We sat down with Ted to get a better idea of what it's like to be sitting at the gate waiting to race down a mountain, and what he would have done if he never got into skiing.Ted is a member of Team Kellogg's and is participating in the Great Starts program aimed at providing breakfasts for children in need.

Seven Swiss museums are taking part in an ambitious project to shed more light on how the Romans used the lakes and rivers for trade at a time when the empire was at its most peaceful and prosperous. Avenches, formerly known as Aventicum, was the Roman capital of Switzerland in the first few centuries AD with control over a vast territory. Artifacts found in the region, and now on display as part of the ‘Between lakes’ project, show that the lakes and rivers served as key transport routes between Gallo-Roman sites. VIDEO IS BEST VIEWED ON VIMEO: https://vimeo.com/73053894 Follow me at: Twitter - twitter.com/scientifantasti | Instagram - instagram.com/scientifantastic | Google+ - gplus.to/scientifantastic I was lucky enough to be sent to Rio on assignment to shoot some 4K and 10K timelapse footage for a major electronics manufacturer. This video is a compilation of some of the footage I shot there. Most of the locations are within the city of Rio De Janeiro, but I also traveled to the famous Iguazú Falls on the border of the Brazilian state of Paraná and the Argentinian province of Misiones. In 2011 Iguazú Falls was announced as one of the seven winners of the New Seven Wonders of Nature by the New Seven Wonders of the World Foundation.
A day in a park - a Parisian park - is filled with life's best pleasures. Sailboats, some chess, lunch on a bench, a lounge in the sun, a pair of artists sketching, a dead serious game of petanque. Come see. Come stroll. You'll smile. Music by Reman - "Longtime". Creative Commons.
