8/2/98 - debut episode; hosted by Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, & Shane McMahon; included Vince McMahon opening the show and introducing Shane, escorted by two women, as the "host and star" of Heat; 'Pacific Blue''s Amy Hunter Cornelius & Mario Lopez were shown at ringside; included Triple H shown backstage talking with X-Pac and Chyna; featured Lawler conducting an interview with Triple H, X-Pac, & Chyna, with X-Pac stating he and Triple H would tear down the house the next night on Raw in a threeway against WWF IC Champion the Rock, with Triple H then adding that Vince hates DX because they do what they want, with Triple H then instructing a female in the audience to flash the camera, which she did; included WWF World Champion & WWF Tag Team Champion Steve Austin shown backstage drinking a beer; featured a "Droz's World" vignette on Droz puking during a training session with Mark Henry; included WWF European Champion D-Lo Brown shown talking with Henry backstage; featured Paul Bearer, Mankind, & Kane shown backstage, with Bearer claiming his team would regain the WWF Tag Team Titles the next night on Raw; included 'Pacific Blue''s Shanna Moaker talking to Bart Gunn backstage about his Brawl for All success against Steve Williams; featured Michael Cole conducting an interview with Austin who said he'd be ready for Rock & Owen Hart on Raw, and didn't trust the Undertaker: Edge pinned Jeff Jarrett (w/ Tennessee Lee) after Lee accidently tripped Jarrett; Droz & the Headbangers defeated Dick Togo, Mens Teioh, & Sho Funaki (w/ Yamaguchi-San) when Droz pinned Teioh with a sit-out powerbomb; prior to the match, Val Venis appeared atop the entrance stage with Mrs. Yamaguchi, causing Yamaguchi-San to throw a fit; following the match, Venis gyrated in front of 'Pacific Blue''s Amy Hunter Cornelius and shoved Mario Lopez, with Lopez then hopping the rail and tackling Venis before security broke up the fight; WWF European Champion D-Lo Brown (w/ Mark Henry) defeated Ken Shamrock via disqualification when Dan Severn interfered after Brown shoved him on the arena floor; after the bout, Steve Blackman attempted to calm down Shamrock, who yelled at Severn for costing him the title match; WWF IC Champion the Rock & Owen Hart defeated Mankind & Kane (w/ Paul Bearer) via count-out; stipulations stated the winners would receive a WWF Tag Team Title match the next night on Raw;
Before the final match, Brian Pillman cuts a promo with Jim Ross at Ringside. Pillman had recently signed a big deal with the WWF and makes his PPV debut. Vince Mcmahon, Owen Hart and Jim Ross are on commentary.
