St Helens then and recent 12-19-2006
I ran acrossed some old footage of when Mount St. Helens erupted back on May 18, 1980.
The latter part of this video is from a webcam I accidently found on December 19 2006 when St Helens blew her white plumes in the afternoon. I recorded a bit of the running webcam before I had to run out the door.
And traffic was backed up on I-205 as I was heading north towards St Helens. People were almost stopping on the highway just to watch her that clear day.
Anyway, I thought to merge the two videos together for sort of a comparison of then and recent.
I'd say she did a lil' fart compared to what she did back in 1980. *lol*
