Mariazinha signifie: "Petite Marie" Composition dédiée à ma fille Maïté, pour lui dire que je l'aime. Chaque note a été composée en pensant à elle, rien n'a été improvisé. Pour elle, j'ai inversé ce que j'appelle mon "processus créatif": au lieu de me mettre en position de récepteur, j'ai fait oeuvre d'émetteur, et j'ai essayé de traduire en musique ce que je ressentais pour ma fille. Je suis désolé pour le son qui sature. Je m'étais tourné de devant mon ordinateur pour éviter le larsen avec mes hauts parleurs, et je n'ai pas vu que le potentiomètre partait dans le rouge... Et puis il y a quelques fautes techniques, mais, dans l'ensemble, c'est acceptable, je crois... De toute façon, il n'est pas question pour moi de faire une démonstration de mes qualités techniques de guitariste, bien entendu. Je partage avec vous ma musique, mais pas une technique que je suis très loin de maitriser!!! And there are some technical mistakes then, but, on the whole, it is acceptable, I believe... Anyway, it is not question for me to make a demonstration of my guitarist's technical qualities, of course. I share with you my music, but not a technique that I am very far from mastering.

J'ai été informé de la catastrophe du vol 3054 de la TAM qui s'est écrasé le 17 juillet 2007 à Sao Paulo, aéroport de Congonhas. J'ai pris ma guitare, et j'ai composé ce morceau... Mon intention n'est pas de recevoir mais de donner, et, chose encore plus importante, de servir de... catalyseur et de permettre la naissance d'une compassion porteuse de paix pour le monde et pour tous ces martyres sacrifiés sur l'autel du profit, du pouvoir et de l'indifférence. Je souhaite que cette vidéo soit regardée et écoutée par au moins autant de visiteurs qu'il y a eu de morts (plus de 200... ) I have been informed of the disaster of the flight 3054 of the TAM that collapsed July 17, 2007 to Sao Paulo, airport of Congonhas. I composed something like 40 musics. One of them is well appreciated. I tried to compose a second voice, for a second guitar. Here is this attempt, my very first composition for 2 guitars (it's me, playing both of them. I am NOT a technician, but a composer. Thus, I like to play... to pray with my guitar). I made a slide show to fit my purpose. This video is a prayer to my Lord, Jesus the Christ. I hope that you will feel what I put in my music, and the way to play it. If you are in trouble with the end... At that moment, you're listening an apparent separation, one more time, then, again, the reunification, the harmonization of 2 being one... in Jesus. At the beginning, the 2 guitars are playing fully in harmony, then it comes that they seem to play a bit unsynchronized, thus it's still in harmony. Then... they are fully unsynchronized and are playing each one on its side... Then, they come back to the great harmony.Here is exactly our own road and our way to join Jesus...Manaus, September 25, 2007
