Farmington city councilors have given the green light to the Connie Mack World Series Committee to begin fundraising for improvements at Ricketts Park. The popular baseball tournament has played at the park for more than 40 years. The committee needs about a million dollars to complete the project. Steve Gates is the architect in charge of the changes and said the plans include a better parking structure, new signs and a new ticket office. "One of our priorities in this is you know…to definitely enhance that baseball experience. We've all been to major league baseball parks and just that feeling you get when you go there," said Gates. Most of the money will come from fundraising, but officials with Connie Mack said they might need the city's help with some of the improvements. The city said they will assess where they can help out after the committee is done with the fundraising.

Hey guys, I'm Joslyn Davis and our crew just returned from the super-hero lined streets of SD to bring you the latest in TV news. The entire convention went out with a bang thanks to Fox's hit show Glee. Over the past several weeks, news surrounding the departure of key actors Cory Monteith, Lea Michele and Chris Colfer, has taken the entire entertainment world by storm. And just when Gleeks were starting to accept this devastating news, Ryan Murphy says "hey, just kidding!!!" Well, not exactly, but at the Glee panel, Ryan said about Glee's trifecta, that "they're seniors. They're graduating. But [just] because they're graduating doesn't mean they're leaving the show." Then in the biggest shocker of all, Ryan went on to say that "If you have Lea Michele under contract you don't say 'We're gonna let you go.' It was never our plan or our intention to let them go. They ARE NOT DONE with the show after this season." Say what???? This is a big surprise, but a great surprise nonetheless. And while it's amazing that these three will be back in some capacity come season 4, we learned that Chord Overstreet will not be returning. He was invited back for a portion of the season "to see if being a regular was a possibility, but he declined the offer," which Glee executive producers were "very disappointed by." According to some reports, Chord might be working on a solo music release, and thanks to some super cute pictures we also can confirm that he's got a lovely lady we love in his life -- Emma Roberts. The pair were spotted holding hands on the beach in Malibu over the weekend. Other notable Glee news from Comic Con includes the fact that we'll get to meet Mike Change -- aka Harry Shum Jr.'s parents. So lots of big surprises from the Glee crew at comic con. And this summer power is in short supply, with blackouts frequently interrupting their operations.Wu Zhongjun owns two textile factories in the eastern manufacturing city of Yiwu in Zhejiang province. He says power cuts have forced him to shut down production every two working days. [Wu Zhongjun, Director of Lianfa Clothing Factory]:"Sometimes, we feel so powerless and helpless. Since my factory is already set up here, I have to take it step by step. I can't just say I quit tomorrow."Electricity is a scarce this summer in China due to coal supply problems and the effect of drought on hydroelectric supply. Regular blackouts are causing more problems for manufacturers.Beijing's customs agency found export growth slowed from a 29.9 percent pace in April last year to 19.4 percent in May this year. In contrast, import growth accelerated.Small manufacturers have suffered this year due to rising wages and inflation driving up the cost of property and raw materials.The Chinese regime's efforts to control inflation by tightening banks' lending criteria, has made it harder for small and medium businesses to get financing.And some say conditions will only get tougher.[Connie Bolland, Chief Economist of Economic Research Analysis Ltd]:"Externally the demand is not going to pick up very, very strongly because, the growth is there, in the global economies, in the developing economies, but it won't be a large one, it will probably be a low trend."Ben Yang

Take a break from promoting the new season of The Vampire Diaries at Comic Con, Nina stepped out on the red carpet for the world premiere of Cowboys and Aliens. She rocked a little black bandage-style dress, featuring several sheer, black lace covered sections. The fit and design was sexy but the longer length sleeves kept it classy. We're digging the uneven hem design and those red satin pumps are to die for. She matched the bold colored heels with her bright red lipstick look, keeping the rest of her makeup pretty. Nina's hair is always gorgeous and at this event, it was no different. Overall, we loved this look -- what about you?? Also, ND definitely had a good night out because she tweeted QUOTE 'I'm not gonna brag but... I may or may not have met Steven Spielberg tonight. Just sayin'.'
