Taylor Swift goes geek chic for her "The Story of Us" music video. ClevverTV has the rewind next! Hey guys, Joslyn Davis here for ClevverTV. Taylor Swift headed to MTV today for the world premiere of her music video for "The Story of Us," and you better believe that ClevverTV was all over that action. The video is set in what can only be described as a prep school library, with most of the people outfitted in geek chic attire consisted of traditional school uniforms. Taylor told MTV that the video was inspired by ivy league college, and meant to be very preppy. Even Taylor and her love interest in the vid are rocking some serious dark rimmed glasses. The song and the video focuses on their relationship and how it's become tragic. At a bunch of moments it seems as though they're getting close to talking or getting back together. But apparently, this guy only has nerd love for another lady in the vid, who is actually played by one of Taylor's real life back-up singers and best friends. Overall though the vibe of the video is very fun and upbeat -- and closes out with all of the students in the library throwing their papers in the air. And sorry guys, Taylor doesn't end up with the guy at the end of the video, but she seems happy and still looks super cute, so not all is lost. Singer Charice's father has been murdered in the Philippines. According to WENN, Ricky Pempengo accidentally brushed against a drunk man while in a grocery store yesterday in the town on San Pedra, when he was stabbed in the chest and back with an ice pick. He died at the scene, and now a massive manhunt in underway as the murderer is still on the loose. Charice has been estranged from her father, but took to her Twitter to express her feelings saying, "I loved him and I will still love him. He's still my Dad after all." She's since pulled out of a concert in Singapore she was scheduled for next week, and has flown home to lay her father to rest. Charice wrote to her fans saying quote, "I am very sorry to all my fans from Singapore. I hope you all understand. I love you all and I will see you next year." Italian director Carlo Carlie is adapting the Shakespeare classic and putting an indie spin on it. For those of you who need a little recap of what the love story is about, Romeo is the son of the Montague family and Juliet is the daughter of the Capulets. The two families are feuding, but it doesn't stop the two young teens from falling in love. The families try and keep them apart, which leads to their tragic deaths. If Hailee gets the part of Juliet, this will be her first role since being nominated for an Oscar in True Grit. And I have to say, she was pretty amazing in that film, so we're looking forward to seeing what's up next for her.
