Bullhorn, an 8 piece formidably comprised of 1 bossing drummer and 7 hard hitting horn players , are taking the wraps off their first realease just months since the bands formed in June 2011.Since 2011 Bullhorn have been brassing up stages in Brisbane, and surrounds, introducing eager audiences to their modern take on bass band fusing contemporary styles on a vintage instrumental canvas, often smashing dance floors in the process.The new self-titled album covers hip hop, soul, funk, reggae and dance music and features original compositions and reimagining's of tracks by Bonobo, Quantic Soul Orchestra, Easy Star All Stars and Hypnotic Brass Ensemble.The Lp itself has been produced by Brisbane rock stalwart Skritch Trembles who has performed with acts such as The Mary Trembles, Gota Cola and Broken Head. Le live de Quantic Soul Orchestra.

Alice Russell est une chanteuse soul, avec un style principalement blues mais qui englobe aussi la funk, le gospel et le jazz, signée jadis sur le label indépendant Tru Thoughts. Elle a en effet signé récemment (2008) chez une major.Elle est connu pour ses collaborations avec Bah Samba, TM Juke, Kushti, et aussi pour avoir collaboré à plusieures reprises en tant que chanteuse lead avec le Quantic Soul Orchestra.Son premier disque « Under The Munka Moon » était une compilation de tous ses titres, à la fois en version originale et remixés pour faire connaitre son travail avec un bon nombre de musiciens et producteurs.Son dernier single « Humankind » a été suivi par la sortie de son second LP « My Favourite Letters » produit par TM Juke.Peut après la sortie de son premier « vrai » album, elle a sortie une autre compilation composé de remixes intitulé « Under The Munka Moon II ». On retrouve dans ce disque ses collaborations avec Quantic, Nostalgia 77, Unforscene et Natural Self, remixées par Bonobo, DJ Vadim et Nu:Tone.
