Kohji (幸治)君は、２００５年に この「忘れないで」でデビューしました。
大学時代からエルビス・プレスリーに懲り、アメリカに渡って歌の修行を終え、現在国内で活躍中です。
Kohji(幸治), his birth name being Kohji Suzuki (鈴木幸治), is a Japanese singer, having over ten-year experience of singing many American songs, mainly Elvis songs, in the States up to a few years ago.
"WASURE-NAIDE (忘れないで)", meaning please remember me forever, is a tragic love song of a young lady parting a beloved male friend.
At Teresa's 10th memorial ceremony in the same year, Kohji enthusiastically sang WASURE-NAIDE in the graveyard park where Teresa is sleeping in Taipei, in the presence of Teresa's brother Jim Teng and many others.
Kohji is currently fascinating the audiences with Teresa's and other songs, mainly Elvis, at many places throughout the country, including his hometown Mori-machi (森町) (this is also my hometown) in Shizuoka prefecture. He is also on the local radio program of SBS in Shizuoka, and has recently started providing singing lessens as well.
