At a press conference for her new movie Battleship, Rihanna revealed that she would "give her entire life” to play Whitney Houston on the big screen. Rihanna was rumored to be on the short list for a starring role in a Clive Davis-produced Houston biopic, along with Jordan Sparks and Jennifer Hudson, but Davis has since denied that the project is moving forward. Di recente l'agente di Whitney Houston ha dichiarato che è stata la stessa cantante ad entrare in modo volontario in un centro per disintossicarsi. La notiza, in un primo momento, sarebbe dovuta essere riservata, ma quando qualcosa è iniziato a trapelare l'agente della cantante è intervenuto. Sono diversi coloro che hanno subito pensato che la Houston avesse deciso di disintossicarsi per provare a ritornare al cinema in grande forma. New details on Whitney Houston's death. According to reports, the family has been told that she did not die of drowning, as was previously speculated. TMZ says family members have informed them that the coroner's office said there was not enough water in Whitney's lungs to constitute a death by drowning. They also say the likely cause of death was the combination of Xanax and prescription drugs with alcohol found in her system. The autopsy has been completed at this point, but the results have been placed on a security hold. What we do know is that there is no indication of foul play or obvious signs of trauma on Houston's body, but officials were not ruling out any causes of death until they have toxicology results, which will likely take weeks to obtain.
