For an extra eight dollars, the 36 mile journey can be reduced by about 10 minutes.Travelers now have an express rail link from Seoul to the Incheon International Airport in South Korea. The rail link opened on Wednesday.Officials say the 36 mile express journey will make it easier for travelers to get between the two cities.Normal trains reach the airport in 53 minutes for $3 while the new express service will take 43 minutes for about $11.Regular trains run every six minutes and express service leaves every 30 minutes.There is also a limousine bus service for about $13 that takes just over an hour to get to the airport if there's no traffic.A luggage delivery service is available from Seoul to Incheon so travelers using the train don't need to travel with their baggage.

Police have said they had no chance to stop Derrick Bird's gun rampage. Chief Constable Craig Mackey said ten victims were killed within an hour as Bird drove across west Cumbria. Mr Mackey said: "At no stage did any police officer have the chance to end this any sooner." Contrary to what police had previously thought, the killings started in the early hours of Wednesday. Bird's twin brother, David, was the first victim, but was not discovered until later in the morning. The family solicitor, Kevin Commons, was the second to be killed at his home in Frizington. The second phase of Bird's attacks took place between 10.30am and 11.35am while he was on the run, Mr Mackey said. Those shootings began in Whitehaven and he went on to kill ten other people during that hour. Mr Mackey said that, as soon as the call came in, every armed officer - 42 in total - in the county was deployed to the area. He said: "Our officers were on the scene within minutes but, due to Bird's knowledge of local roads, he had fled in his vehicle and was travelling south, firing shots along his way. "Police and RAF rescue helicopters were drafted into the area and a massive land and air search began. Crucially, in this period Bird was firing shots out of his vehicle, moving from place to place, and was not in any one area for a significant length of time."

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit southern parts of Taiwan early on Thursday. 11 people were injured, but no fatalities have been reported. The quake caused minor damage. The quake set five fires, including one at a textile factory. Although the fire hit the laboratory, there was only very little toxic chemicals, so it should not be very serious. So far, from the air we monitored, there are very little toxic particles." Falling objects, including a tree, injured people in southern Taiwan. Rooftops collapsed and school children were evacuated in Kaohsiung and Tainan Counties. Rail services in the south have been disrupted due to safety checks. Taiwan’s Weather Bureau says the epicenter of the quake was in the mountains northeast of Kaohsiung City. Earthquakes occur frequently in Taiwan, which lies on a seismically active stretch of the Pacific basin. One of Taiwan's worst recorded quakes occurred in September 1999. The 7.6 magnitude quake killed more than 2,400 people and damaged 50,000 buildings.

A police officer was shot in the chest, But the bullet-proof vest he was wearing helped him survive the shooting. The suspect fled into the neighborhood and kept hiding after shooting the officer.
