Hey guys, welcome back to ClevverMusic. ABC's newest 'American Idol' competitor, 'Duets' had its second ever show last night and we've got your highlights. Judges John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, Robin Thicke, and Jennifer Nettles each got to sing a second duet with their two amateurs, the theme of the night was 'Greatest Duets of All Time'. That makes for a total of 8 performances for the night, and pressure is high since next week one of them will be kicked off.On team Kelly Clarkson she sang with amateur Jason Fogel who we think had one of the best performances of the night. They sang "Whenever You Call," a Mariah Carey and Brian McKnight duet. Kelly tried to get him to work on his confidence, but sill the judges thought Jason clung to Kelly's "umbilical cord."On team John Legend we learned one of his amateurs had unexpectedly left the competition so he had rush out and audition for a new one that week. We were pleasantly surprised when he chose Meleana Brown, and they two sang 'Endless Love' which catapulted her to the top of the leader board.Team Jennifer Nettles had an interesting night of performances. She sang with fan favorite John Glosson an ambitious "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". With her other amateur J Rome she took a chance and did a 'Grease' number, 'You're the One That I Want'. It had the potential to be very Broadway, but the two pros pulled it off in a fun flirty dancey number.Last, on Robin Thicke's team he sang 'Where Is the Love?' with Olivia Chisholm who had a hard time remembering the words, even though, as Kelly Clarkson pointed out, they repeat the same thing the whole song. At the end of the night which saw a lot of sexual comments from Robin Thicke and scowels from Kelly Clarkson, Meleana Brown and J Rome were tied for first place.
