A spokesperson for Heather Locklear today confirmed that the Melrose Place star had not try to commit suicide. Heather was also said to be awake and "chatty" and "medically stable." Hospital rep Kris Carraway-Bowman spoke to press outside the Los Robles Medical Centre this morning and assured fans the actress was in no danger and no longer in a "serious condition."

ET has learned that Heather Locklear was taken to the hospital after the authorities responded to an emergency medical situation at her house in Ventura County, California earlier this afternoon. UPDATE (7:15 p.m. PT):A spokesperson for Los Robles Hospital tells ET that Locklear is in stable condition. The spokesperson also expressed that the actress' parents are with her and want to let her fans know that she is okay.
