On page 22 Imam an-Nawawiyy relates that: " al-Qadi ^iyadh said: "...and there is no disagreement among all of the Muslims -- the scholars, the Muhaditheen, the outspoken, the preachers and the followers- that what seems to be apparent or obvious in stating that Allah is in the Sky (the heavens) -- like the Ayah (أَأَمِنْتُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاء) and the such- is actually not so and should not be interpreted literally. Rather all of them gave it a meaning that befits Allah in accordance with the Arabic language. This is the end of the quote wal 7amdulillahi rabbil^alameen.

Praise be to Allah. We humbly ask Allah to raise the rank of Prophet Muhammad, the Trustworthy. Thereafter, among the sayings of the Prophet that indicates the classification of Innovations into two types, is the hadith related by Imam Muslim in his Sahih. Imam Muslim related, in his Sahih, that "The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "The one who innovates, a good innovation in Islam has its reward and a reward similar to those who follow him in it--until the Day of Judgment--without lessening their reward; and The one who innovates, in Islam, an innovation of misguidance would be sinful for it and has sins similar to those who follow him in it--until the Day of Judgment--without lessening their sins."

This book is al-Irshad ila Qawati^ al-Adillah fee Usul al-'I^tiqad by Imam al-Haramayn ^abdulMalik ibn ^abdillah al_Juwayyniyy ash-Shafi^iyy who died in the hijri year 478 which means 951 years ago. This book is the first edition printed by Darul-Kutub al-^ilmiyyah--. On page 21 Imam al-Juwayniyy said: "..and the creed of the entire Muslim nation is that Allah is clear from being in a place or directions." This is the unanimous agreement among Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jama^ah. Allah without a doubt exists without a place

When it is said Allah is al-a3laa it is meant that Allah is the most high in status, not in place because Allah is the one who created the place and He existed before creating the place without a place. This book is 'Sunan an-Nasa'iyy' interpreted by the Hafidh Imam Jalalud-Din as-Soyutiyy who died in the Hijri year 911 which means 518 years ago. This book was printed by Dar Ihya' at-Turath al-^arabiyy, Beirut. Volume two on page 226, Imam as-Soyutiyy explains the Hadith of the Prophet, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam: "the closest the slave is to his Creator is when he's prostrating." He relates that Imam Al-Qurtubi said: "what is meant by the closeness in this hadith is the closeness in status and honor not in distance, because Allah is clear from confinement in place, being at a distance or subjected by time." This is the true belief! The place is a creation and Allah is the Creator! The Creator does not need his creation; therefore Allah exists without a place
