Board Games that NEED to be Movies
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies - Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies - Follow Us! Hey everyone thanks for checking back with us at clevver movies, I'm your host tatiana carrier and today we want to break down some board games that we think should dominate the boxoffice...if they are ever made that is! . So with Real Steel that came out this year resembling the classic Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots and the upcoming Battleship based off of Milton Bradley's classic game of the same name, has made me want to go back to the toy chest and find some other board games from yesterday that I'd love to see make it to the big screen. . First one was an obvious choice. Crossfire! Just the song alone made this game look like it needed to be directed by Michael Bay. With the tag line of "Don't get caught in the CROSS FIRE!" You had to shoot metal ball bearings at a puck to try and push it into the opponents goal. . Now honestly, not sure exactly HOW this could get converted onto the big screens, but again, this idea just seems so epic, I'm sure someone like Michael Bay COULD make this a million dollar franchise. . Next up is a movie for the entire family. Mouse Trap was a fun and intricate game where kids got to build up a crazy Rube Goldberg-like mouse trap in order to catch the opponents mice. Easily, I can see this on Pixar's list of family fun movies to make list. I can see it now, a group of mice friends trying to make it across this labyrinth of puzzles and traps just trying to get the big cheese. But then again, if the movie is anything like the board game, it's have 2 hours of set up and then end 30 seconds later forgetting the rules or even the point all together. (That's a joke) . And finally, yes this list has been all fun and games thus far, but next on my list, I'm very serious about. I really REALLY want to see a candyland movie. Yep, this fun and colorful adventure game led you through a world of very fun and interesting characters just begging for a back story. With characters like King Kandy, Queen Frostine, and Lord Licorice how could this not be an amazing trip. And director wise, well, I'd go straight to Tim Burton. This kind of set up has his unique style and art design written all over it. . What's really cool about this idea, is that Universal Pictures has actually talked about getting this on the big screen and earlier this year put together another writing team trying to work out a script. So maybe we may be graced by this board game's presence on the big screen. . Well that's enough from me, I want to know what games you guys would like to be seen as a movie? Let us know by commenting below and be sure to subscribe to our channel so that you stay in the movie know! Thanks for hanging out, we will catch you next time!

All Across The Universe
Dedicated to a dear and old friend of mine from Northern Germany, Lady A. G., and "Beatle" John Lennon. - I deeply will stand in Lady A. G.'s debt for all of my life. But it isn't money I owe her, money could be paid back much more easily indeed. Money is a vain thing in the very end. A mere invention by the human race. And some day our still continuing faith in it might kill all of us! Dedicated to a dear and old friend of mine from Northern Germany, Lady A. (Finding its bearings partially in some older recordings or just the style of Bruce Hornsby you nevertheless can call this a cover. It's a new song.)

Cirque du Soleil @ G.a..y Awards 2008
Cirque du Soleil's tribute to The Beatles "A Day In The Life" and Carol Wood and Timmy Mitchum (from "Across the Universe") perform "Let It Be" at the 50th G.a..y Awards in Los Angeles, California on February 10th, 2008. The performance includes music and artists from the popular Cirque du Soleil show The Beatles "Love", which is currently running at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. For more Cirque du Soleil check out my Cirque du Soleil Primer at http://www.roysac.com/cirque Cheers! Carsten aka Roy/SAC p.s. subst the three "." in G.a..y with two times the letter "m" and one time the letter "r". If you wonder why I did not spell out G.a..y, ask the folks who organize the event and have taken down every single video that just mentions them. This is my recording from TV that is shared without the intend to make any profits from it, but what they care. They obviously never heard about YouTube and social media and spend their day being paranoid that some software pirates rip their precious content and sell DVD knock-offs made in China via ebay and their millions of dollars in profit will all go down the drain. I guess the TV jerks tasted too much of their own programming.

"Vaud and the Villains" - Part 2
This is the second half of my Masters' Thesis Film. For those just joining us, this film follows three members of an 18-piece, 1930's style, American folk big band called "Vaud and the Villains" as they explore their personal relationships with Los Angeles, performing, the music they love, and the band that binds them all together. Combined with various musical vignettes that showcase the talent of the entire ensemble, this film leaves us with a better understanding of how music can transform both those who create it and those who experience it.This film premiered in 2010 at the University of Manchester in England. It is currently in consideration for screening at nearly a dozen film festivals across the world.Enjoy!
