A series of shots put together from Radio 1's Hackney weekend on Saturday 23 June 2012. About 100,000 people attended the festival which transformed Hackney Marshes as part of the London 2012 Festival. Soundtrack from the Vaccines "If You Wanna", which we filmed on the In New Music We Trust stage.
Some shots captured in the BT London Live fan park in Hyde Park. Hundreds of people attended each day to watch the Games on one of 6 big screens. In addition music acts played every night and there were a host of other activities for all ages. This video shows some of what was going on.Recorded on 1 August 2012.
